Welcome to T:Zero Multisport's first 'ODto70.3' Training Camp. Whether you have done a few long course triathlons or thinking about stepping up from Olympic Distance - this one day is for you! T:Zero Multisport Senior coaches Emma Quinn and Steve Wehlow will be taking this one day camp purely designed with the focus on stepping up and racing 70.3 long course triathlon. Spaces are limited to this camp, so don't miss out! We are very excited about what the day has in store for each and every athlete. The camp itinerary is as follows: 29 December 2016 0645: Meet, ready to ride, at the Mudjimba Car Park - off Mudjimba Esplande, in between the 'Power Memorial Park/Playground' and the Mudjimba Surf Life Saving Club. 0700: 2.5-3 hour group ride with Coach Em and Coach Steve - For the warm up, the group will ride from Mudjimba towards Coolum and back for the warm up. Then you will follow the prescribe session provided by Em and Steve which will result in all athletes doing laps along the Mudjimba Esplande/ Ocean Drive, past Twin Waters and doing a u turn at the round a bout to head back to Mudjimba. 1000: Throw your bike back in your car and do the prescribed run off along the footpath on Mudjimba Esplande to then finish off with Run Drills on the grass at the Power Memorial Park. 1100: Meet at Mountain Creek Aquatic Complex for introduction to the Camp - Meet Coach Em and Coach Steve, listen to their histories about how they started in the sport and their top things they wished they knew when they started + QnA 1200: Catered lunch at Mountain Creek Aquatic Complex with informative presentation about nutrition by 'The Natural Athlete' Scotty Farrell (T:Zero Head Coach and qualified Nutritionist) 1330: Swim Session - Run by Coach Em and Steve- Not a hard session with the primary focus being on Technique Technique Technique! 1530: Presentation by Natasha Cole of Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy, about the keys/theroy of core stability + Group core session 1700: Camp Finishes |
