Here is your chance to attend a one day training camp that allows you to train over the swim, bike and run course. The knowledge you gain from this training day will leave you far more confident come race day. Benefit from the T:Zero Multisport coaches hints and tips about this race - with all coaches having raced at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships Sunshine Coast last year! Welcome to T:Zero Multisport's Sunshine Coast 70.3 Training Camp - a training day open to everyone (not just T:Zero athletes) and caters for all abilities. This camp is all about course familiarization, training and informative presentations to allow you to race to your potential at the 2017 Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast. The camp also offers all of the personal touches like - fully supported rides, catered lunches and informative presentations. T:Zero Multisport camps sets the standard of triathlon training camps in Australia - we look forward to showcasing our professionalism and experience to you. To ensure we can continue to provide such a high level of service, this camp has an enforced maximum number of participants, so be sure not to miss out. We are very excited about what this training day has in store for each and every athlete. The camp itinerary is as follows: 7:00am - 60-80km ride including the 2 loop 'hinterland' section of the Ironman 70.3 bike course - this will be a supported ride and will have sections where athletes will be able to ride at their own 'race pace' for certain sections. This ride is catered for all abilities and speeds 10:30am - Run off the bike - Various distances but range from 5km-12km over the Ironman 70.3 run course 12:00pm - Lunch provided at Mooloolaba Beach - Handing out sponsors pack to all athletes 13:00pm - Presentation by the coaches - "Hints and Tips for nailing the Sunshine Coast 70.3" 14:00pm - Presentation by the coaches about swimming in open water, including the mastering of putting on a wetsuit, how best to start the race, positioning and sighting. 14:30pm - Open water session - A supported swim in the Mooloolaba Bay - take the opportunity to swim on the Sunshine Coast 70.3 swim course. This will be a supported swim and will cater for all. 15:30pm - Afternoon tea provided (Acai Bowl) and a final presentation regarding the final 6 weeks of your training to the Sunshine Coast 70.3! 16:00pm - Camp Finished |
