T:Zero Multisport - an official club with Triathlon Queensland / Australia We are so excited with this announcement! After 6 years of being an associated group of awesome individuals, we are now a family within a club of Triathlon Queensland / Triathlon Australia. Here is the press release issued by TQ relating to the move (the online article can be found here): T:Zero Multisport, a triathlon club with roots in Mountain Creek on the Sunshine Coast, has been formally welcomed to the Triathlon Queensland club fraternity for the upcoming season. The club was founded by top Ironman and endurance athletes Richard Thompson and Scotty Farrell with their focus on bringing out the potential in all athletes.
“It is a great sign for the sport that more and more un-associated clubs are affiliating themselves with Triathlon Queensland”, said development officer Daniel Mangano. “We look forward to working with T:Zero Multisport in delivering services to our members”. T:Zero is a club that offers training programs, training camps and triathlon coaching face-to-face who base themselves out of the Mountain Creek Aquatic Centre. The club will be adequately looked after by Scotty Farrell who is the current TQ accredited Development Coach on board with Emma Quinn (nee Coman-Jeffries) & Richard Thompson currently going through the process as well. In 2016, T:Zero Multisport will be running a wide range of camps – from 5 week beginner courses and one day trail running camps to 3 day Ironman camps. The club will also be taking part in TQ’s Tri Before You Buy Club Pass (TBYB) which is a new initiative allowing non-members the opportunity to trial club life for 8 weeks from February 1. Current TA members will be able to add T:Zero as a club from the beginning of February with new members being able to join at the conclusion of the TBYB club pass from April 1.
